Chad Stuart and Terry Sylvester recreate the magic of Chad & Jeremy and the Hollies in this never-before concert event featuring two British Invasion legends.
Chad Stuart is one half of Chad & Jeremy, the duo who recorded nearly a dozen hit records during the 1960s and appeared on hit television programs such as "Batman" and "The Dick Van Dyke Show". Chad wrote several of C&J's most memorable tracks, including "Yesterday's Gone" and the enduring classic "A Summer Song". Chad & Jeremy have enjoyed a touring and recording renaissance during the 2000s, enabling a new generation to discover and enjoy their timeless sound.
Terry Sylvester once plied his trade at the famous Cavern Club, playing alongside The Beatles and other Liverpool legends as a member of the Swingin' Blue Jeans. In the late 1960s he joined The Hollies, where he played a vital role some of their greatest successes, chalking up hits with discs like "Long Cool Woman In A Black Dress" and "He's Not Heavy, He's My Brother". Terry was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame in 2010.

August 29th... Three Days In May News Roundup...
The British play that Jeremy is currently starring in - 'Three Days in May' - has finished its run at the Windsor Theatre and now moves to
the Richmond Theatre. For ticket details visit this site.
Reviews for the play's run at the Windsor have been excellent.
The Staines News said:
"This proved to be live theatre at its best ? gripping, emotional, brilliantly acted and with minute attention to historical detail ?and made all the more poignant for the audience by the fact that, at the back of our minds, we were only too aware that the drama being played out in front of us was based on real-life events that ultimately saved Britain?s freedom."
Here is what the
Maidenhead Advertiser had to say: "Three Days in May totally enthrals, so much so that you can?t believe it runs for around two hours. A member of the audience remarked to a friend 'That just whizzed by didn?t it?'. Make sure ?Three Days in May? doesn?t whiz by before you?ve had time to catch it."

December 19th... Chad's Yahoo Anniversary Message...
Today is the 10th anniversary of the start of the Yahoo! email message group. To mark the occasion, both Chad & Jeremy have sent messages into the group. This is Chad's:
"When I decided to get back into the 'public eye' - if you can call it that! - one thing that was crystal clear was the importance of the internet in getting the word out and reconnecting with fans. So Jason and I looked for the best way to do that. We tried several other things, but the one that was most appealing to me was the email message group, because it is much more personal and direct for everyone involved."
"Times have changed on the internet in ten years and now there are sites like Facebook or MySpace, but the group is still going strong because of that very personal connection of sharing with a community of people with the same interest."
"We don't have the time to post ourselves - or else we'd never make any music! But I'm very happy to know that it is still thriving a decade after it started. Long may it continue. Thank you."
December 19th... Jeremy's Yahoo Anniversary Message...
Today is the 10th anniversary of the start of the Yahoo! email message group. To mark the occasion, both Chad & Jeremy have sent messages into the group. This is Jeremy's:
"This is Jeremy Clyde, and I'm told that today is the tenth anniversary of the start of our Yahoo! Group. It is no secret that I can't tell a Yahoo! from a Yee-Haw, but I am pleased and touched to know that everyone finds us so interesting as to find ten years worth of things to discuss. I can't quite fathom what there is to talk about every day, but I am pleased and touched that you do."
"I raise my glass to you and to the next ten years, you Yahoos."
"Happy holidays,
JC"

Chad posted to say "thank you for all the good wishes for my birthday. One year away from seventy may sound pretty ominous, but the trick is to think and feel 'young'. I only feel 'old' about once a month, which I figure is pretty good!"
A very happy birthday tomorrow to Chad Stuart, who was born 69 years ago on Friday.
Here's a picture from the family album of young David Stuart Chadwick out on a picnic in the late 1940s.

November 30th... PBS Mystery Solved...
The mystery of Chad & Jeremy's non-appearance on the recent "Folk Rewind" special has been solved. The press announcements touting their inclusion were in complete error, as Chad & Jeremy's recordings were not intended for this specific special.
Instead, Chad & Jeremy will appear in a future special (current ETA December 2011) featuring 1960s pop, rock, and folk artists as recorded in May of 2010 at the Benedum Center in Pittsburgh, PA.
We are very sorry for all of the confusion generated by these events and by the incorrect listings and announcements.
November 27th... Folk Rewind Cuts...
Unfortunately, we were led to believe that C&J had made the final edit of the "Folk Rewind" PBS program, and indeed they were listed in pre-publicity, but
they were absent from the final edit of the program. The producers of the show recorded a great deal of footage from a number of artists, and did tell us
that the C&J clips would appear before Christmas. Obviously this has turned out to not be the case.
We apologize for the disappointment of looking forward to seeing them, and we hope to give you news on when their performances will be heard soon. Next time we won't believe the TV listings!
November 26th... Folk Rewind Tomorrow...
A quick reminder to not miss the Folk Rewind PBS special, which begins airing tomorrow.
To find out when and where it airs in your town, just follow the link below to PBS and search for "Folk Rewind".
Everyone in the Chad & Jeremy family would like to wish you and yours a very happy Thanksgiving.
November 22nd... PBS Special Less Than A Week Away...

Your local PBS station may not be showing it on the 27th, or may be showing it at a variety of times, so check your local listings to see when it airs in your town, just search for "Folk Rewind".

November 1st... San Diego Troubadour Interview...
Published today is a new interview with Chad in the San Diego Troubadour, as C&J prepare to play Acoustic Music San Diego on November 12th. In it, Chad talks candidly about all sorts of things from their very start in the 1960s to the state of the economy, with all sorts of other topics in-between. Thank you to writer Bart Mendoza and to the Troubadour for this very nice piece.
To purchase tickets for their concert at Acoustic Music San Diego on Friday, November 12th, please visit the AMSD website.
N.B. One small clarification we would like to note is that the planned "Zanzibar Sunset" album will not contain archival 1980s recordings, but rather is a new studio project to be released when completed, at some time after the upcoming "Live At The Don Gibson Theatre" disc.
November 1st... Tacoma Charity Concert...
A new date has been added to the Winter 2011 Tour, but this one is a bit different from the average show.
Chad & Jeremy are appearing in a benefit performance for Habitat For Humanity in Tacoma, Washington, hosted at Immanuel Presbyterian Church on January 23rd, 2011.

October 28th... Crockett Radio...
Chad will be interviewed live on KIVY 1290AM/92.7FM in Crockett, TX at 9:15AM on next Wednesday, November 3rd. Unfortunately, the station does not stream its broadcasts, but if you're in the local area be sure to tune in, and be sure to come to the show at the Crockett Civic Center on November 20th.
Also, keep an eye out on local TV channel KTRE ABC 9 from time to time, and you might see a couple of familiar faces during the ad breaks. Using live footage from the C&J Vaults, the folks at the Piney Woods Fine Arts Association and KTRE have put together a special television advertisement for the Crockett show to air between now and November 20th.
October 27th... John Sebastian Presents: Folk Rewind...
Chad & Jeremy's appearance on the My Music Series "John Sebastian Presents: Folk Rewind", taped in May of this year in Pittsburgh, will begin airing on PBS stations across the country on Saturday, November 27th. The show is presented by John Sebastian, and lasts 2 hours, including such talents as C&J, Roger McGuinn, Barry McGuire, the Chad Mitchell Trio, and more.
Check your local station for time and date of broadcast.
October 27th... Messing With Texas...
When C&J first announced they would be playing in Texas in November of this year, one question was "how long is it since the last time you played there?".
We thought we knew the answer, and that it was during the British Invasion II Tour in 1986. It turns out that the memory cheats, revealing a remarkable little piece of trivia.
The last time C&J played in Texas was not in 1986, but in 1968! That spring, Chad & Jeremy performed in Abilene, TX in one of their final concert appearances of the 1960s.
Fans in Texas - who were amongst the first to see C&J in concert in the USA back in November of 1964, were also amongst the last to see them in the 1960s, and have had a 42 year wait to see them again.
It really goes to show how unique of an opportunity fans in Texas will have this coming November 20th, when Chad & Jeremy play the Crockett Civic Center. It isn't every day that C&J ride into town.
October 26th... A riddle...
Who should you not argue with? The surprising answer is coming soon.
October 22nd... Patty Duke ep on THISTV...
Get up early, or set your recorder, because C&J's 1965 appearance on The Patty Duke Show, in the episode entitled "Patty Pits Wits, Two Brit Hits" will air on local "ThisTV" affiliates on this coming Tuesday, October 26th at 6AM. Check your local guide for confirmation and channel info. ThisTV is a broadcast digital TV network available in most parts of the country through local affiliates. Thanks to Sue on the Yahoo! Group for the heads-up.
You'll also want to enjoy the current run of the 1966 Batman TV series on the new HubTV channel (it recently replaced Discovery Kids on satellite and cable providers across the country), and we'll be sure to let you know when the C&J appearance Ker-plows onto your screens.

October 6th... Jeremy thanks C&J's Facebook users...
The internet is still a bit of a mystery to Jeremy Clyde, but something that is no mystery is his sincere appreciation for his fans.
So yesterday when he discovered that C&J's Fan Page on Facebook reached the 500 user milestone, he sent this little note of thanks to everyone.
Jeremy here. I want to send in my congratulations to all of you for making our Facebook page such a quick success, with over 500 users in under a year. The internet is not my cup of tea, but I'm told that's pretty good, and from what I can see it is a great place for Chad and co. to send you all our latest news. Thank you, and I'll be seeing you (just not on Facebook, at least not any time soon!).

September 28th... Chad says "thanks" on Facebook...
Chad posted this on our Fan Page on Facebook earlier this afternoon:
This is Chad here. On behalf of the two of us, I want to say thank you for all of the nice things that everyone has been saying all month long during our little 50th anniversary celebration - whether on the road or online. Jeremy and I must have the kindest and most thoughtful fans of any group out there.
Thank you also for the outpouring of love on the 'birthday' of "Yesterday's Gone". I had no idea when I wrote it that this many people would care this much this many years later. I'm deeply touched. Thank you.
Sign in to your Facebook account and "like" the page and you'll have all of our updates posted to your own Facebook wall. If you don't have a Facebook account, you can start one today and connect with friends, family, and find people with similar interests - like Chad and Jeremy.
September 27th... Happy 47th Birthday...
Even as we celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the first meeting between Chad & Jeremy this September, today is also a special day.
Today is the 47th 'birthday' of Chad & Jeremy's very first record, "Yesterday's Gone", first released in the UK on September 27th, 1963.
The song was C&J's only UK chart-outing, at a very modest #37 in the fall of 1963, but a US release in the summer of 1964 saw it reach #21 during a 9 week chart stay, and it became the title song to their first LP - a mammoth hit that stayed on the charts for 9 months!
Happy 'birthday' to but the first of many successful C&J records, released 47 years ago today!

September 9th... Jeremy Clyde: "has it really been 50 years?"...
Jeremy has written another of his popular personal articles for the website, this time reminiscing about that fateful day 50 years ago when he first met Chad, and on their relationship ever since.
You can read this Special Feature by clicking here.
September 9th... More media coverage...
The tour is only a day away, and media coverage continues. Recently Chad gave an interview to Peter Gerstenzang of patch.com to promote their two appearances in CT during the Fall Tour.
It is a wonderful tribute to Chad & Jeremy, clearly written by a long-time fan, and you can read it here.
September 8th... "Apache" video montage...
With the release of "Fifty Years On..." a mere two days away, we bring you a celebratory video montage that marks fifty years of Chad & Jeremy with the song that started it all, and now leads off the new CD.
Apache (FIFTY YEARS ON... anniversary video)
This video pays tribute Chad & Jeremy's lifetime of friendship and to the 50th anniversary of that fateful day in September of 1960 when Chad Stuart first played "Apache" for Jeremy Clyde, who knew at once that he had found a musical brother.
Prepared specifically for C&J's Official YouTube Channel, the clip merges vintage photographs and contemporary performance footage for a decidedly retro feel.
Fifty years on... and "Apache" is still as fun as it was all those years ago...
You can subscribe to our YouTube Channel by visiting this link and selecting 'subcribe'. That way you'll be alerted any time we add new content to our channel.

September 6th... Behind the lens of 'the man who invented rock photography'...
Last week the UK Independent newspaper ran a piece on longtime friend of C&J, rock photographer Gered Mankowitz.
Gered is preparing an exhibition of his work with Jimi Hendrix, and sat down with the Independent to discuss his work with Hendrix and his career in the 1960s.
C&J get a very nice mention, and it is a great piece for those of you who might not be too familiar with Gered's other work. It will surprise you to learn that
the man behind so many classic C&J images is the same man behind some of the most instantly recognizable images of various legends of rock.
If you're in London, you can see Gered's exhibition of Hendrix work starting on September 18th at Snap Galleries, and even if you're not you can pick up his latest book "Experience: Jimi Hendrix at Mason's Yard" - out on the same day.
September 2nd... C&J Interview in New Hampshire Paper...
For those of you in the New Hampshire area, there is an excellent interview with C&J in today's New Hampshire Union Leader, in the build-up to their concert at the Tupelo Music Hall in Londonderry, NH on September 12th.
The full-page piece, by Julia Ann Weekes, is one of a number of print interviews C&J have given across the area of their September gigs in recent weeks for publication in areas near their concerts, but it stands out as one of the best.
It is included in the statewide "Weekend" section of the September 2nd edition.
Although the article is not available to read for free, the Union Leader does offer an e-edition of their paper archived for the last 30 days for $2, which can be reached here.
September 1st... Celebrate 50 years with a brand-new 'tour exclusive' CD...
September of 2010 marks a unique anniversary for Chad & Jeremy. It sees
a half-century since Chad Stuart first met Jeremy Clyde.
To celebrate
this event, Chad & Jeremy will be out on the road for another of their
popular US concert tours, but this time with a special twist - available
at their live shows will be an exclusive compact disc entitled Fifty
Years On?, featuring ten songs selected for this disc because of their
personal meaning to Chad & Jeremy over the course of their musical
journey together.
Tracks include: Apache / Take Out Some Insurance / Well All Right / Don't Look Back / Doghouse Blues / So Right Tonight / What's In A Name? / Lady Wants A Gentleman / Closed For Repairs / You Need Feet
This limited-edition exclusive 'tour CD' will not be available in stores, but only at C&J's upcoming live shows, and for a brief period of time at Chad & Jeremy's Online Shop, so that you too can share in the celebrations even if you can't make it to one of the shows.
C&J's next major retail release is scheduled to be a live album recorded earlier this year at the Don Gibson Theatre. When a release date is set for that album or there is news on any recording project, you will hear it first on www.chadandjeremy.com.
September 1st... Ten days until Tour Time...
Chad & Jeremy's Fall 2010 Tour begins in a mere 10 days. This tour isn't just your 'average' Fall Tour, though. This one marks a special anniversary - 50 years since Chad and Jeremy
first met at London's Central School of Speech and Drama.
So be sure to come see the show this fall and share in 50 years of musical friendship between Chad Stuart & Jeremy Clyde.
August 30th... A double-dose of Chad's Photo Diary...
With August almost over, and September nearly here, we present a double-dose of Chad Stuart's Photo Diary. First up is a spread with photos from last year's big family wedding between Cassi and Kyl. This year it was Chad and Julia who were wed after many happy years together, but last year it was Julia's daughter Cassi's turn to tie the knot.
To celebrate Cassi and Kyl's one year anniversary, we bring you these pics of the Stuart-related wedding event of 2009.
Secondly, on a topic we're all thinking of this week - Labor Day. See how they celebrate Labor Day the Sun Valley way, with a western parade no less, in this edition of Chad Stuart's Photo Diary.
August 25th... One more September date!...
C&J are pleased to announce one final addition to next month's tour schedule - they will be performing at the American Hotel in Freehold, NJ on Wednesday, September 15th.
For more details, visit the Downtown Freehold website. C&J will see you there!
August 23rd... Chad on Australian Radio...
Chad is being interviewed for the Australian Broadcasting Company 720 ABC Perth's "Drive Show" hosted by Russell Woolf. The show features the 1960s Aussie compilation album
"26 Groovy Greats", including C&J's version of "Homeward Bound" alongside hits by other Columbia Records artists of the day.
The interview will be conducted late-night Monday night, so that Western Australian listeners can hear it during the local 3-6PM timeslot on Tuesday August 23rd.
Unfortunately for US listeners, that means
you'll have to stay up pretty late - between 3-6AM in the Eastern Time Zone, and between 12-3AM in the Pacific Time Zone.
If you're a British fan you can split the difference, and tune in between 8 and 11AM on Tuesday morning.
If you want to have a listen, check out the show's website at this link.
August 20th... Elephant Man on BBC 7 and BBC iPlayer...
Jeremy Clyde features in the BBC Radio adaptation of the Elephant Man, which is being repeated August 21st in the UK at 1PM on BBC Radio 7, and will be available on the
BBC iPlayer shortly thereafter. Click here for a link to the iPlayer.
Jeremy plays Sir Fredrick Treves, featured in this 1988 radio play alongside Gerard Murphy, Charles Kay, Anna Massey, and John Hollis.
August 17th... "chadandjeremyvideos" goes live!...
C&J have started a dedicated Chad & Jeremy YouTube video channel.
It is called "chadandjeremyvideos", and you can visit it or subscribe by clicking here.
Chad Stuart says: "we live in an increasingly visual time, so to have our own YouTube channel to showcase our new music is really a no-brainer".
To celebrate the event, we've uploaded a previously unseen clip of "Zanzibar Sunset" as well as five other videos, including the songs from this spring's WDCB radio session.
If you previously were subscribed to Jason's YouTube channel, which was started in 2007 for the C&J website, it is probably wise to keep that up as well, as this will probably not be a complete replacement, but a complimentary channel.
August 17th... "Is It Legal" On UK DVD...
The classic 1990s sitcom "Is It Legal" is coming to UK DVD. In "Is It Legal", Jeremy Clyde plays Dick Spackman, the ethically-challenged senior partner at the lawfirm of Lotus, Spackman & Phelps, alongside other members of a fantastic
ensemble cast including Richard Lumsden and Imelda Staunton.
Series One of the show, which won a British Comedy Award in 1996, is scheduled for release in the UK only on September 13th. The release is by Network DVD.
For those of you in the USA, there are no plans that C&J.com know of for a US release. If your equipment is capable of playing British standard PAL DVDs, you may want to order the UK version from an
international retailer like amazon.co.uk, but by all means make sure first!
If you're in the UK, you might want to check out Network DVD's page devoted to the release - including an order offer at the sale price of only ?7.99, nearly half off the ?12.99 retail price.
WARNING: MANY US DVD PLAYERS WILL BE UNABLE TO PLAY UK STANDARD DVDS. PLEASE CHECK YOUR EQUIPMENT FOR COMPATIBILITY BEFORE MAKING ANY PURCHASE!

August 10th... On The Road One Month From Today...
Tell your friends, because its the most wonderful time of the year - fall tour time. Below are the places where you can catch Chad & Jeremy this September and November.
July 26th... You Need Feet (To Defeat Landmines)...
Jeremy Clyde has donated a pair of slippers to be auctioned on ebay to raise money for MAG (Mines Advisory Group) and their "Give Landmines The Boot" effort.
MAG is a non-partisan and neutral group whose focus is to clear the remnants of war from both past and present conflict zones. A donation to MAG helps save lives.
Jeremy says "I contributed some Moroccan slippers to MAG a while ago, and I am glad they are now on auction to help the landmine cause".
These handmade slippers are a European size 45 (UK 11, US 12), and as you see they feature beautiful woolen red, white, and black stitch pattern detailing, and leather soles. They are signed by Jeremy Clyde.
Over to you, then, to help give landmines the boot by winning Jeremy's footwear - but be sure to bid before 10:02AM Pacific (1:02PM Eastern) Sunday, August 1st. The auction can be found at this link.
July 22nd... Another Tour Date...

Today marks the beginning of a new series on chadandjeremy.com. It's Chad's Photo Diary, with pictures past and present captioned by Chad himself, giving you a new level of insight into his life on the stage and beyond.
The first of these sets has a family theme. It features Chad & Jeremy's appearance in Las Vegas last September, where C&J had the chance to spend a few days with friends and family of all sorts. Click here to see the Special Feature.
July 2nd... Jeremy in "The Old Guys"...
For those of you in the UK, Jeremy's recently taped appearance in the BBC sitcom "The Old Guys" will air on Friday 9th July on BBC1 at 9:30 PM.
In this episode starring Roger Lloyd-Pack, Clive Swift, and Jane Asher, Jeremy has a guest appearance as Keith, a romantic interest of Sally (played by Jane Asher).
Filmed in March, this episode was a nice treat for Jeremy, as it allowed him to catch up with Jane, who is an old friend. It also made him one of the few people to ever work alongside both Jane Asher and her brother Peter in the same year since Peter Asher chose music over his childhood ambitions of being an actor himself!
UPDATE: Episodes from last year's series of "The Old Guys" are currently airing on some PBS stations across the country, meaning this series of the show may appear on your stations in the future. Check your local listings
for the episode entitled "Quiz".

For those of you who did not get the chance to hear this program, we're making C&J's appearance available as a download - click here to listen to the session - courtesy of WNCW FM 88.7, with special thanks to presenter Martin Anderson and

March 18th... One month until the Spring Tour...
Tour time is nearly here. C&J are back on the road on April 17th - check the dates and venues below to see if they're coming to your town:
April 2010
* also appearing at this show are: Peter Asher and the Peter Asher Band; Terry Sylvester formerly of the Hollies; Denny Laine formerly of the Moody Blues and Wings; Ian Whitcomb; John Walker of the Walker Brothers; and Elvis Presley's drummer D.J. Fontana. Further details to be confirmed. Admission is FREE.
March 10th... Get your Nimbit exclusives before they're GONE...
If you've been putting off downloading C&J's Christmas EP, or last month's "You Are She" download - now would be a good time, because you've only got until the 10th of April!
C&J are about to go back on tour, so rather than distract from the more 'mainstream' releases with Christmas EPs and Valentine's themed singles, we're going to take them down on the 10th of April.
That gives YOU only 30 days to download them direct from our front page or from our digital store.
Will they reappear? Only time can tell...but if I were you I'd get clicking!
March 10th... Chad on Christmas/You Are She...
As we get ready to take these releases out of 'e-print' in the style of our older Tour CDs, Chad Stuart chimes in on why Nimbit is such an attractive format.
"I've discovered that Nimbit is a great little gadget. We get to do all sorts of fun things just for the fans, without interfering with our 'main' body of work."
"We really enjoyed recording the Christmas one - it was especially fun because I was able to include my daughter Beth on it. Valentines was a chance for us to release a song the true-blue fans really wanted to own,
and also for me to really 'let loose' on the b-sides without them being carved in stone forever. In the future, I'm sure we'll be doing more Nimbit exclusives - but as touring and Zanzibar Sunset (please don't ask when it's coming - I'm working on it!) loom on the horizons, we want to
concentrate on the 'big' releases."
March 5th... SPACE'd in...
We can now confirm Chad & Jeremy's appearance at SPACE in Evanston, IL on May 8th, as a part of their upcoming Spring Tour. Tickets are available at the venue's website via TicketWeb. So come out and see Chad & Jeremy on Mother's Day Eve if you're in the Chicago area, at Evanston SPACE.

February 10th... Gordon Waller Tribute Concert...

The free show is scheduled for 4PM and is part of local radio station KKLZ 96.3's "Summer Of Fun Kickoff".
Chad says on this memorial gig: "We're very happy to get this chance to celebrate the life of Gordon Waller. This year we have a scaled-back touring schedule in order to focus on working on our new album, but this is one show that we simply have to play - to pay our respects to our friend of many years."
