A new year, and a new format for this column. From now on, it is going to be a quarterly chronicling of everything interesting in the C&J world, and perhaps quite a bit that isn't all that interesting! We will get cameos from the lads from time to time, but for right now you look to be stuck with me!
It has been a very busy week for those of us in the C&J Universe. Jeremy arrived on Tuesday in the states in time for the beginning of the March tour, and everything seems to be going quite well. They're both in excellent spirits, and looking forward to their busiest year yet - with dates in the summer in the Philipines, and more USA dates in the fall.
Meanwhile, in sunny Florida, Caswell Cooke Productions began making a new documentary entitled "The Chad & Jeremy Story" this week. Caswell and director Chris Walsh spent a few days at my home scanning material for the documentary, and also shooting as much extra "b roll" material as there was time for. They also interviewed yours truly to hopefully help fill in little gaps that the lads may not remember, and also say things they may never have the nerve to say. Having spent a couple
of days with the crew, and also writing and talking back and forth this year, I have every confidence this is going to be a fantastic project. Most importantly, filming of the lads will take place over a 4 day period later in the month, where the most comprehensive video interviews ever will be done, as well as Caswell capturing some great video of the lads at shows that he personally arranged for the purpose of the documentary.
That's about all that is going on right now - next time look for more updates on the new LP and even more tantalising details about the documentary project.
